Where do l start? >
The first thing to do is
email us for a detailed quote and plan of action. We like to know a little bit about you and your business, and exactly what you’re wanting your website to be able to do. Do you want a shopping cart and gallery, but don’t want a forum? Or are you looking for an informational site with many pages, with a blog on the side? Let us know what you’re thinking of, and we’ll be able to formulate a solution to meet your needs, as well as provide a pricing estimate.
How long does a website take? >
We allow approximately 4-6 weeks for each e-commerce website and 1-3 weeks for a makeover or small project. A time estimation will be included in your contract. Upon commencement of your site, it is appreciated if your hosting and domain name is already booked and confirmed. We will email you detailed questionnaires regarding most details of your shopping cart and website, and are happy to help with hosting and domain names if you need advice. All Dotcom Design work is done under contract, with a regular payment schedule.
What about website maintenance? >
Dotcom Design take pride in teaching you to use your own website! You won’t have to pay for adding extra products or categories, and you can perform minor site changes by yourself without paying expensive ongoing fees. There’s no ongoing contracts or hidden extras. Our goal is to make you an independent owner & operator of your site.
All site packages come with full email support while construction is taking place, and we will answer questions and make minor changes/corrections for 14 days after your website goes live. Work after this time period is billed at our hourly rate.
We also provide details for other support options if we are unable to accomodate your maintenance requests at any time.
